Samaritan’s Purse is responding to crises all over the world and is recruiting DART members to join in on this effort. DART (Disaster Assistant Response Team) travels internationally to meet the physical need of the victims of disaster and to spread the hope of Jesus Christ.
DART members are on call employees, short term contract members of Samaritan's Purse, who are contacted when needs arise and asked if they are available to serve. Daily stipend is given while on service, and air flight, meals, and beds are provided by Samaritan’s Purse.
Those interested in applying for DART need to fulfill the following requirements:
Be able communicate, work, and take orders in English in emergency situations
Be available for at least 2 weeks to serve
Expect to go through the application and interview process administered by IHQ
Expect to if selected, to attend a mandatory training program before being deployed > If selected, attend a mandatory training program before being deployed.
