Bereket, a teenager living in Ethiopia, had to walk 90 minutes to get water for home use. However, after the installation of a water system in the village in Samaritan’s Purse, she no longer has to walk a long way to draw water, which has led to no longer being late for class. The principal of the school Bereket attended could not hide his joy, saying that the new water system has raised children’s academic achievement and attendance rates. Your gift will help us bring water access to communities hard-hit by disaster, or villages where clean water is always hard to come by.
