Mischievous 6-year-old Erdene is a Mongolian child who was diagnosed with congenital heart problems at 11 months of age. As a result, Erdene wasn’t able to sleep or breathe properly well because of the excruciating pain in his heart.

"The doctor said my child needed to travel abroad for surgery... There was no way to receive this operation in Mongolia..."

I searched day and night for a way to cure my child's illness, but the answer I got back was hopeless... Erdene's family was unable to afford an overseas expedition surgery due to difficult family circumstances.

However, a miracle happened.

Samaritan’s Purse Korea is a non-profit corporation (religious corporation) participating in activities specified in Article 12, Clause 1 of the Enforcement Decree of the Inheritance and Gift Tax Law. All contributions designated for specific projects shall be applied to those projects, and undesignated gifts will go to “Where most Needed.” We may assess up to 10 percent to be used for administering the gift. Occasionally, we receive more contributions for a given project than can be wisely applied to that project. When that happens, we use these funds to meet a similar pressing need.
